Born and raised in the city of San Francisco, Frank Zacarias has been influenced by the many different musical genres that SF has to offer. His diverse dance music palette is unlike many other DJs on the West Coast and his international travel experiences has helped bring together some of the very best house music styles from around the world. Frank continues to build his global fan base and entice dance floors with his unique musical talent.

At age 9, he picked up the clarinet, moved onto alto and baritone saxophone, and by age 12, Frank was part of a summer program featuring some of the best young musicians in SF. He taught himself guitar after being inspired by Seattle’s grunge sound, and shortly after, learned the bass guitar having been inspired by Les Claypool from Primus. A new sound inspired Frank at age 16, when he started to experience the legendary warehouse parties in San Francisco during the mid 90s. By 1998, Frank went on to DJ his first party and the rest is history.

In the early 2000s, it was very rare to find American college student who’ve travelled distances in search of understanding other styles of House Music around the world. All before the age of 22, Frank experienced some of Europe’s most influential clubbing destinations. From the old Space Ibiza terrace to Fabric London during its early years, to the original Love Parade in Berlin during its peak years, to the legendary Tresor in Berlin before it closed.

By age 23, Frank became the youngest resident DJ for Global Sessions Music and their FOXY parties, which now include resident DJs Julius Papp (NeoDisco) and Halo (City Deep). After its debut in 2003, FOXY Thursdays is now one of the longest standing weekly house music parties in the San Francisco Bay Area and has brought big named DJs like Jay-J, Andy Caldwell, and Jask.

In 2007, Frank joined the Undefeated Recordings family, whose roster includes Kerri Chandler, Doc Martin, Mr. V, Alix Alvarez. While managing booking and helping assist the label with releases, marketing, and A&R, Frank was in contact with some of the best nightclubs, labels, & Djs around the world, quickly establishing his name within the industry. In 2008 by popular demand, Frank created “The Erotic Rhythms Collection” podcast, making it accessible for his fans around the world to keep updated with his latest mixes. Within 2 years, the podcast has reached 10,000 downloads on iTunes and continues to grow every year.

Frank is currently working on several productions with Matt Mau (Deep Vision/Aurei), known for his previous collaborations with Sandy Rivera (Blackwiz) & Kings of Tomorrow (Defected).
